The day, as itactually happened.

We are a small wedding studio in Bath. We film and photograph weddings across the United Kingdom quietly, without staging, without a shot list of poses nobody asked for, and we send you something to share the very next morning.

Our approach

You will barely notice us. That is entirely the point.

The single most common thing couples tell us afterwards is that they forgot we were there. We take that as the highest compliment available in this line of work, because a wedding you have to perform at is not really your wedding.

We do not line people up. We do not interrupt your speeches for a better angle, we do not ask you to walk back down the aisle for a second take, and we do not spend forty minutes of your drinks reception on portraits while your guests wonder where you have gone.

What we do instead is arrive early, learn the shape of your day, work out where the light will be at five o'clock, and then get quietly out of the way. The good moments happen whether we are pointing a camera at them or not — our job is simply to be in the right place when they do.

Two of us attend as standard, so nothing important is missed while one of us is elsewhere. We wear ordinary clothes. We eat whatever the suppliers are given and we are grateful for it.

  • No posed group shots unless you specifically want them
  • Two of us for the whole day, from preparations to first dance
  • A short social edit sent the morning after the wedding
  • Full gallery in four weeks, full film in eight
  • Every image and frame yours, in full, forever

What we film

Six things, across one long day.

Every collection includes all of these. There is no version of this where we film the ceremony and charge extra for the speeches.

I

The morning

Preparations in both rooms, the details you spent a year choosing, and the hour before anyone is nervous enough to notice a camera.

  • Both preparation rooms
  • Dress, rings, stationery
  • Letters and gifts
  • Arrival of the party
II

The ceremony

Filmed on two cameras with discreet audio on the officiant and the couple, so the vows are actually audible rather than lost to a breeze.

  • Two-camera coverage
  • Clear vow audio
  • Guest reactions
  • Full unedited ceremony film
III

The in-between

Drinks, confetti, the aunt who has not seen your cousin in nine years. Almost every couple's favourite photographs come from this hour.

  • Drinks reception
  • Confetti and candids
  • Family and friends
  • Venue and styling
IV

Twenty minutes, just you

The only part where we ask anything of you. Twenty minutes at golden hour, walking and talking rather than posing. Then straight back to your guests.

  • Golden hour timing
  • Twenty minutes, no more
  • Walking, not posing
  • Portrait set delivered
V

Speeches & dinner

Full speech audio and coverage of the room while they land — the laughing, the crying, and the person quietly refilling their glass.

  • Full speeches filmed
  • Clean audio recording
  • Room reactions
  • Table and detail shots
VI

Into the evening

First dance, the band, and enough of the party for you to remember what it felt like at eleven o'clock, which by then you will not.

  • First dance
  • Band or DJ set
  • Evening party
  • Optional late finish

A typical day

How the hours usually run.

Yours will be different, and we will build the timings around it — but this is the shape most days take.

09:30

We arrive

Usually before the flowers. We find the light, meet your coordinator, and photograph the details while the rooms are still calm.

11:00

Preparations

Both parties, quietly. This is where the best unguarded photographs of the whole day tend to come from.

13:00

Ceremony

Two cameras, discreet audio, no movement during vows. We will have agreed with your officiant beforehand exactly where we can stand.

14:00

Confetti & drinks

The loudest, happiest hour of the day, and the one couples most often say they barely remember experiencing.

17:30

Twenty minutes with you

Timed to the light rather than the schedule, which is why we will occasionally suggest moving it by ten minutes.

18:30

Speeches & dinner

Filmed in full, with clean audio recorded separately so nothing is lost to a rattling plate.

21:00

First dance & evening

We stay through the first hour of the party. A later finish can be added if you would like the whole evening.

Next morning

Your social edit arrives

A ninety-second film in your inbox before breakfast, ready to share while everybody is still talking about it.

Words from couples

What people write afterwards.

"We genuinely forgot they were there, and then the next morning there was a film in our inbox and both our mothers cried before ten o'clock."

Hannah & JoeSomerset, June 2026

"Not one posed photograph and yet somehow every person we love is in the gallery, laughing. I do not know how they managed it."

Amelia & RebeccaNorthumberland, September 2025

"They moved our portraits twenty minutes later for the light and were completely right. It is the only decision from the whole day I would not change."

Questions

Everything couples ask us.

How soon do we get everything?
A ninety-second social edit reaches you the morning after the wedding. Your full photograph gallery follows within four weeks, and the finished film within eight. Those are the dates we commit to in writing, and in eight years we have missed one — for which we refunded the difference without being asked.
How many of you come?
One for The Ceremony collection, two for The Full Day, and three for The Everything. Two is our strong recommendation: it means nothing is missed while one of us is upstairs with the dress and the other is with the grooms' party, and it costs you far less than the day is worth.
Do you travel outside Bath?
Constantly — we film all over the United Kingdom and have shot in Scotland, Cornwall and Northern Ireland this year alone. Travel within two hours of Bath is included in every collection. Beyond that we add fuel at 45p per mile and, where the morning starts before we could reasonably drive, one night's accommodation at cost.
What happens if it rains?
We carry on, and honestly some of our favourite photographs have come out of genuinely miserable weather. We will scout an indoor alternative for your portraits at the planning stage so there is never a decision to make on the day.
Can we ask for particular photographs?
Of course. Most couples send us a short list of people who matter — a grandparent, a friend who has travelled a long way — and we make certain those exist. What we gently discourage is a list of forty formal groups, which reliably consumes the best hour of your day.
What if you fall ill?
We are part of a small network of UK wedding filmmakers and photographers who cover each other, and we carry the insurance to fund it. You would be told immediately, you would meet the replacement before the day, and the editing would still be done by us.
Do we own the photographs and film?
Yes — full personal use rights, in perpetuity, on delivery. Print them, share them, send them to whoever you like. We ask permission before showing anything publicly, and a number of couples ask us not to, which is completely fine.
How do we secure a date?
A £400 deposit and a signed agreement, both of which can be done online in about ten minutes. The deposit comes off your total and the balance is due four weeks before the wedding. We hold enquiries for seven days without a deposit if you need to think.
